That Scottish Thing

This is for Sweet William the Scot, cause he needs to know.

About all the Scotties our peeps have had finally was discussed with us. The true story of why they have had so many Scotties, we are numbers 4 and 5.
Dad had his first one just before mom came along, and she just loved her, then the line of progression started. Dad always has said we could have a dozen running around and he would be happy, mom said NO WAY, two is enough at a time, we run the place now, imagine what 12 would do (Party all night long).

Why do they love our breed some much, well mom is Scottish/Irish (whoa, now that’s a combo) and dad, oh my, he’s Scottish/German (wonder where that temper of his comes from). So we are not the only wee bonny lad and lassie here.
Dads Clan Tartan
Now we know why dad likes to go to Sweet William’s blog and stay so long, he loves “Carol of the Bagpipers”. Dad also thinks he can talk like a Scot, no way laddie, just gibberish, no even close, see I am better at it then him.

I do believe the Scottish Tartan and Bagpipes were meant to be a part of all of this family, so there you have it Sweet William, isn’t life strange?

Susie's Question; Cause I am curious and needs to know
Can you follow you peeps ancestors back?

Nasty Puppy Mills

Here we are again, this is a special blog by me, Sidebite, for all the rescues and abused brothers and sisters out there.

Going with dad to write this Blog

This is from my heart for my sweetie Susie, something my mom and dad have worked very hard to overcome and give me the gift of a happy, cute gal.
After finding her, he started watching the legislators here, a bill was in the works to help stop the terrible puppy mills, the abusive ways they are run and the horrible conditions. On May 14, 2010, SB, the "Oklahoma Commercial Pet Breeders Act" was passed, with final rules and regulation's finalized in December. Of course there was a challenge by a group of non caring people, but on February 17, 2012 the Federal courts rejected this constitutional challenge. Now you have to be registered, pay for a permit, collect taxes and are subject to inspections. This still has not stopped the illegal sites, however, more people are turning in the locations, with the puppies going to rescue places and special free days at various doggie pounds around the state.
During the past 3 years 16 states have passed puppy mill laws, there is still a lot of work to do, our law here is a long way from having strong teeth, and support is needed in lots of other states to stop the abusive ways and conditions of our wonderful fellow guys and gals.
Dad and me would like for everyone to read "About Susie" and "About Susie Part Two", to understand the severe problems and how it took almost 1 and 1/2 years for Susie to recover and become a normal dog and party animal, After all SHE IS A SCOTTIE and she is MINE!
Now I can finally go eat

Question; She is curious and needs to know,
Do you support any Legislation, Rescue places or animal groups?

Were New to Blogville

Hi bloggers, My name is Susie and dude is my bubby Sidebite. Been read'n abouts you guys after They somehow found "The Scottie Chronicles", what a character. We saw all the other postings on his site and started looking at his blog friends, and we are hooked.

Been trying for four months to get Them to start a blog. Finally, we yelled enough at Them to join the modern world and set this up. Dad keep saying "I need help", well there we sat, who could be better informed then us. After all "Stuart" is the new world leader and WE ARE SCOTTIES, very important dogs and smart (course typing is difficult, not impossible, spelling, have dictionary). Dad still thinks he needs someone with experience, What you gonna do with them Peeps!!!

This site will contain info about us, "The Adventures of the Scottie Twinkies", there will be various blogs about us, our backgrounds, our peeps, our relationship with each of them, and all the stuff Scotties get into along with things we like or dislike. Till we learn to like the camera (don't have one, Mom just got a cell phone with it, peeps get up to date!), pictures may be limited.

We more than likely will not have a daily blog as our access to the computer is limited, as they have other activities, can you believe that. Mom - grandkids and sewing, Dad - bicycle rider, and both work, they need to stop that and be with us, after all WE ARE SCOTTIES.

Please feel free to comment any time, we love to hear from you and can always use help to do this better

NOTE; this site is under construction
